In 2024 season's opening match at Paulson Stadium, Boise State will look to continue their success against Sun Belt conference foe Georgia Southern in week 1. They hope to keep up their strong offensive play while improving weaknesses on defense in an exciting contest which should highlight both teams' respective strengths and weaknesses.
The Eagles look to improve on their disappointing 2017 campaign. Although they lost key players from last season's squad, they believe they can remain competitive in the Sun Belt Conference. Their option-based offense will keep Boise State guessing while their defense must stop its runs.
Last season, the Broncos finished 26th overall in total offense at an average of 436.0 yards per game and 72nd in defense with 385.1 given up per contest. They have an experienced group of players that should help maintain one of the premier running attacks in the country.
