Pittsburgh Basketball will strive for perfection against VMI on Monday at Petersen Events Center. The Panthers have been an offensive powerhouse, making life difficult for Pitt. Meanwhile, VMI's keydets defense will make scoring difficult for them as well as for Pitt.

VMI defeated Christendom University by an overwhelming score of 102-56 on Tuesday evening. The Keydets have been impressive on offense so far this season, scoring an average of 75 points per game while making over 50% of field goals and 35% of three-point attempts. Furthermore, VMI rebounded the ball well while being highly aggressive on the offensive glass.
VMI is an outstanding defensive team, as they have allowed just 64.4 points per game through four matches. According to KenPom's adjusted tempo index rankings, VMI ranks 31st overall, providing pressure against Panthers by pushing tempo and moving ball up court quickly. Augustinas Kiudulas averages 21.8 points and 8.o rebounds while TJ Johnson has been an outstanding three-point shooter, knocking down an average of 3.4 threes per game.
