Oregon State's inside presence consists of Dexter Akanno (16.9) and Jordan Pope (16.6) who lead Oregon State in scoring at 16.9 and 16.6 points per game respectively; Pope is an effective shooter capable of opening driving lanes for his teammates.
This matchup has all of the ingredients of an exciting high-scoring battle. Both teams possess enough talent to score 70+ points, and both defenses possess flaws that may enable USC to exploit Beavers' turnover issues through fast play. Both sides excel at creating takeaways; thus whoever prevails in taking down opponents first will most likely win this contest.
