College Basketball Preview - 02-15-2025 The Xavier Musketeers host DePaul Blue Demons in a Big East matchup at Cintas Center for an important conference matchup. DePaul comes into this matchup sporting an unimpressive 2-win conference record while Xavier is fourth place and boasts two wins in its last three contests.
Even after a slow start to their season, the Blue Demons are still very much in contention for an invitation to the Big East Tournament. Their resume includes wins over Georgetown and Seton Hall that demonstrate why they should be one of the better teams in league play.
That being said, it would be nice for the Blue Demons to put forth a more consistent effort. They have struggled early in both of the last two games and must stop putting themselves into difficult positions.
